I am glad for this because it can help children with autism overcome some areas where they may struggle with sensory issues.
And they seem kinda fun to play with in general.
So happy to see some more toys in this space, it’s really pretty limited and there are some cool toys that can appeal to all kinds of kids.
I used to hate certain materials as a kid, i wonder if this would have helped me get used to them earlier.
I like this but to be real:
Name a single toy for pre schoolers/babies that is NOT sensory. Almost every human being alive started with some fabric to hold. A literal pacing stimulator to suck on. And a contraption to create moving colored shapes and sounds around you.
The only sense that doesn’t seem to have a conventional toy is smell and thats probably because babies are self sufficient when it comes to creating strong odor.
