I just changed belts on my car with one that is of equivalent size and rock auto says it fits my car but when I type the dealership part number it gives me this size belt 6k x 2390. The belt I purchased was a dayco 6pk2400. I just wanted to make sure the oem belt is not some special material or something as I’ve not seen this sort of belt size. I did compare the two and both seemed identical but the ridges on the new dayco were almost like a felt sort of material the ridges on the oem were like solid rubber. The car is a Benz coupe e550 2010. Also after driving for about an hour and popping the hood it had a very strong smell not sure if this is just some chemical that burns off or what.
