If I buy new TPMS sensors (Toyota OEM, generic american, knock-offs, etc) online, can any reputable tire shop program the new sensors to my car?

Or will the ECU require that I go to a Toyota dealer to have that done?

All 4 sensors (maybe 5 if counting the spare) died several years ago, but I wanted to replace the sensors at the same time as my tires to save some money.

It’s a 2010 model year.

Thanks.

My 04 had a separate controller for TPMS, so I jumpered it out to extinguish the light and replaced the TPMS sensors with nice, free, easily replaceable schrader valves.
