ASUS Zenbook 14 Flip OLED Laptop, 14” OLED Touch Display, Intel Evo Platform, Intel Core i5-1340P CPU, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Home.
Planning to get this as a computer science student, wanted to know if this can handle occasional car racing games with decent performance…
Also, if you already own this, any feedback is highly appreciated.
Thanks
No. You need a discrete GPU.
Integrated stuff is not good for modern-gaming.
For $1000, you could grab something like this with a real-GPU and double the amount of SSD space - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-tuf-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i7-with-16gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-1tb-ssd-mecha-grey/6535503.p?skuId=6535503
For around $1200, you could get this - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-rog-strix-g15-advantage-edition-15-6-qhd-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-9-5980hx-16gb-memory-radeonrx-6800m-512gb-ssd-black/6486485.p?skuId=6486485
Thanks for your reply but I’m not looking for a gaming pc, they’re generally too bulky to carry around.
So, 13 to 14 inch is really important to me.
