It’s silly. 90% of the Lithium in the world is floating in the sea, masked with the salt we know as NaCl. Lithium chloride is identical, almost, and all desalination plants will produce Lithium, from regular sea water. But Lithium is explosive, and I doubt this chemistry will last.
