My dad recently got a BMW 2012 m650i on auction he replaced the engine since the other one got flooded. There is a problem with the speedometer it doesn’t work. Also front passenger seat recline doesn’t work. Any ideas on what these problems could be and how to fix them?

Most likely your speedometer is broken. Also the seat recliner, also broken. Check it to see if it is. Sorry I couldn’t be more help. My dash is also doing wonky stuff, I think it’s the car computer not thinking correctly as for the recliner it probably is the recline mechanism to reclininating.
