Looking to replace my dad’s ratchets that have gotten pretty worn out in the gearing/locking with some nice new ratchets. I would say he is hobby+ as he does quite a bit of wrenching on his classic cars, but he definitely doesn’t need professional grade.
To date he has had older cheap ones and Husky and Bostich brand ratchets so I am hoping to step up if possible. Not looking for Snap-On, but didn’t know if there was another decent option or if I should just go the Husky route again and replace more often.
Had a budget of $100 for the 3 standard sizes in my head, but isn’t in stone if a little more gets me substantially more value.
