Can worn control arm bushes make noises over speed bumps ?

Trying to trace down a clunk over bumps , worse when cold. Replaced top mounts, shock absorbers, drop links and sway bar bushes which pretty much leaves control arm bushes. It started after hitting a bump too hard last year

My car just started to have loud creaks when going over speed bumps (or anything with large suspension travel). Replacing lower control arms and stabilizer bar bushings fixed it.
