Hey everyone! I have been quoted by the dealership that I need to “lube throttle linkage” and perform a “fuel injection service” for 158$ and 203$ respectively.

When I called an auto shop to see if those were truly required for my 2018 Toyota Corolla they said I needed to come in to see. The car was under warranty until June and has about 45k miles on it. Do you think this is truly necessary or are they just up charging me?

    Pretty sure you don’t even have throttle linkage cuz it’s an electronic throttle body. Check your owner’s maintenance manual. You won’t find either of those in the recommended services. There’s reason for that; They’re not recommended. They’re wallet flushing services
