I have a 2003 Toyota Avalon xls it’s super nice and all but the repairs are so tiring and keeps me from making my basic bills on time . I’m coming out of a car crash with settlement and I’m thinking about trying to sell the Avalon and maybe getting something more reliable should I or just drop 2k on it and keep driving.tips and advice please ?any advice on how much repairs you should do for used car too?

You’re going to have to do some math. Calculate out how much you’re paying in repairs/maintenance and insurance now. Calculate how much you would be paying on a car payment, maintenance/repairs, and insurance and see which is better for you. Make sure you’re realistic about what the “new” used car’s maintenance costs will be too. All used cars are a gamble also and the devil you know may be better than a “new” neglected used car.
