Hello, I just took my 2016 Scion IM 1.8L L4 to get two new tires last week and they told me I need to replace the front struts since the driver side one is leaking. Ole gal has 110k miles on her. I’m pretty mechanical so I was planning on just doing it myself and getting a quickstrut online. However, I’ve searched everywhere (Ebay, RockAuto, Advanced Auto Parts) and I cannot seem to find a quickstrut for this car. On the Toyota Parts website the strut by itself can fit a 2017/2018 Toyota Corolla IM. I was able to find a Monroe quickstrut Part No-172989 but it says it fits a 2014-2019 Toyota Corolla. Would this work? I just want to make sure it will fit before buying it.

It will not fit. The regular corolla is a completely different vehicle. Your only options are used or a dealer it seems.
