i tried to replace my radio but when i plugged it in it wouldn’t work. so i tried plugging the old one in and it didn’t work either. all the dash lights don’t work either. anybody know what it could be?

Did you do a cut the wire job or use a wiring harness.
I always recommend a harness sit down at work bench and go over the instructions for radio and the harness. What is the brand of aftermarket head unit
