Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding driving for 2000 KM. What is your advice? I’m planning a journey in a few weeks and will be driving approximately 2000 KM with my family (wife and 2 kids). I plan to take a rest for 15 to 20 minutes every 300 km. When I stop, do I need to turn off the car or leave it on? What is the best approach?

Additionally, what do I need to check before starting the journey?

My Car is KIA RIO 2015.

Thanks.

    Perfect advice 👌

You already mentioned the fluids, but I also like to take a litre of oil and pre mix coolant, along with a very small basic tool kit. Feel like it can never hurt to have, but that’s just me being pedantic.

litre of oil and pre mix coolant, along with a very small basic tool kit.

Also a 12V air pump and a battery jump start kit. It’s so much nicer/safer to fill your tire in a couple of minutes and drive to a gas station than changing a tire by the street.
