I disagree with many of these posts. the scalpers are not the problem. Scalpers are only effective if idiots pay it. There is very little in life that you have to have right now. Its the people that paid those prices that are the problem, you see now that they aren’t paying it the scalpers are crying. they should of ben crying all along. The persons that paid them are the issue! if people refuse to pay over MSRP there wouldnt be over MSRP prices. But as long as someone feels they have to have something before others the scalpers will take advantage. Some would have to explain to me why anyone would pay over MSRP for a vehicle. your already upside down at sale, now your upside down plus all the money. I would never pay over MSRP for anything. IF its that rare and limited, then apparently may people can live without it and so can I.
Shhh…you’re making sense. People don’t like that ya know. Everyone hates scalpers but they’re ok with Nike raising prices 10$ every year for the same sneaker with WORSE quality.
The market is set by the buyers. It’s not like “scalpers” just say “I want 450 dollars for the 50 dollar item”. You’re correct about buyers being the “problem” the same way the consumer is the problem for not putting their foot down and continuing to buy the same worse sneakers for a higher price every year.
