Posting this to help my husband. He changed out the clutch master cylinder on our '93 Wrangler V6 but when he went to bleed the clutch, the bleeder screw sheared right off. It’s easy enough to find a whole new clutch slave cylinder on places like Rock Auto but he only needs a new bleeder screw. Much googling has ensued with no luck.
Does anyone have any idea where to find this?
Is there anything special about the screw? If there is, could you modify a normal screw to match. McMaster Carr has a selection of bleed screws; I would check Graingers as well, and maybe Fastenal.
Post on r/cherokee. Just say 93 4.0. They might get butthurt if you mention it’s a yj. You should get some pointers over there!
There is a specific name for that bleeder screw but unfortunately at the moment it escapes me…McMaster carr sells them all day but I just cannot remember what they are actually called
Zerk perhaps
Check the help section at your local chain auto parts store.
My local Ace Hardware has a parts section that has bleeder screws.
