Electric cars are not worth anything… The batteries are stupid expensive, lose range at the whim of nature, can’t tow, are a fire risk, cost more to be insured, a problem when in a crash, must be stored 15m away from ANYTHING else when stored… Have literally sunk a cargo vessel… destroyed an airport parking lot, are impossible to extinguish, and the batteries will burn underwater and in space.

🤷 They’re just shitty cars being pushed by government…

It’s funny how the original automobile was not pushed by government, but took over the industry BECAUSE it was a better and actual viable alternative…

EVs are not, and the governments are pandering to those that line their pockets…

EVs aren’t ready to replace anything but fire starters… 🤷

I used to actually have an interest in these cars, but decided to wait to see where they were going, what problems there are, and to see if there was any investment in the infrastructure…

There has not been. There has been zero upgrade to our energy grid, it’s a complete joke…

Meh. Too much doom and gloom for me. For many applications, they’re perfect, especially if you don’t “need” a luxury Taycan.

I think the 3500 lb tow-rating on my Polestar 2 is good enough. And my 10-year-old Renault Zoe is holding up very well on its original battery and motor.
