2021 Camry, 45,000 miles. Was told by Toyota it has lifetime fluid, but others online say it should be changed every 50-60k. Should I have it flushed, just change whats in the transmission pan, or leave it be? I am wary about flushing it as last car I had the transmission started to slip after flushing.

Look in the maintenance manual. IIRC there is a listing for “Severe Service” with a CHANGE interval of 60k miles or 6 years whichever is earlier.

Drain and fill, use WS or CVTFE fluid transmission depending of course. TheCarCareNut has a video on YouTube for how to do it.

Drain and fill. What was the situation with your last vehicle when you had issues after flushing? Miles, make and model etc?
