I have a 1989 Toyota Corolla sr5 I just bought

The car runs and after it’s run for a while and I shut it off the car doesn’t wanna start back up but if u wait like an hour and come back it starts fine

When you say it won’t start, is it cranking but not starting? Or not even cranking?
