    That’s the thing about the people that claim we don’t have enough lithium…they point to current supply and say it is insufficient. But we didn’t need huge amounts of lithium until now…and when we put in an effort to find more, we find that there’s plenty of lithium out there.

      They also ignore that it can also be almost completely recycled, its not lost. You mine it once and keep using it multiple times.

      They also completely ignore the fact that technology improves and we are actively working on alternative batteries that use less rare minerals and are safer.

      Plus unlike fossil fuels, there’s a shit ton of alternate materials that can be used to make batteries. Big players are currently betting on sodium ion

        Sodium ion batteries may be a big game changer. Not the best batteries but they are cheaper and that is what is most important.

            They will be fine for lower spec vehicles. Folks used lead-acid for golf carts and eBikes for a long time. Na-ion will be MUCH better than that.
