Thinking about getting a EV. Just curious why you got yours. The reasons I can think of are:

  • Environmentally friendly 🌵
  • Cheaper Fuel ⚡️
  • They are cool/trendy 😎
  • Lower maintenance 🔧

Is there anything surprising that you found out after you bought it?

    What surprised me is it’s not really much if any cheaper to fuel at home than a comparable gas/hybrid car, especially in winter. Luckily I can still mostly charge free/cheap at work, at least for now. Of course this depends on where you live.
