Thinking about getting a EV. Just curious why you got yours. The reasons I can think of are:

  • Environmentally friendly 🌵
  • Cheaper Fuel ⚡️
  • They are cool/trendy 😎
  • Lower maintenance 🔧

Is there anything surprising that you found out after you bought it?

    1. lower maint, no exhaust pipes, oil/trans changes.

    2. heater -instant. never had heat in my ICE in winter.

    3. no freezing filling it up outside

    I’ve driven 3500mi/yr for 20+yrs so range isn’t a problem but repairs per mile were up. Last 2 cars were 20yrs old when I retired them so this is my last car.
