If you want to buy an old English luxury car, buy a 70s/80s Rolls Royce. Parts are not an issue, albeit expensive, transmission is a Hydramatic, tons and tons of knowledge and specialists out there etc.

if you’re trying to buy a six-figure car and still hitting up anonymous internet forums for free advice you probably have bigger problems on the backburner. look inward brother, there’s a world in there too.
The problems could be literally anything. Why hasn’t it been started in 3 years? Who knows what was wrong with it when parked and what’s been ruined while it was parked. Buying it without having serious cash to throw at it would be very stupid.
