I read that the Tesla MY is good for this, including a camping mode designed for it. I suppose an M3 might also work, but would have less room to stretch out?

Are there other EVs that would be good for this, with a heat pump, something that’d serve as a camping mode, and enough space for two people to lie down and sleep with the back seats folded down?

I see people asking this, but have to ask: why?

If you’re wanting to actually camp, why not in a tent?

If traveling why not in a cheap hotel room?

Some people want all the outdoor parts of camping but not the tent parts.

Some people would prefer more sleeping comfort and ease.

Some people have loved camping in tents, but now are older and/or feeling too infirm to want to endure the colder damper weather at night.

Some people have a partner who is only willing to camp in more comfort.

Some people are worried about animals at night.

Some people want to camp at times, or in places, where a tent would be miserable.

Some people want a way to escape wildfire smoke.

Some people want to be able to travel and have places to sleep without using a hotel.

Some people want to live in their cars.

Some people find cheap hotels to now be way too expensive.

Some people find cheap hotels too often problematic.

Some people want to not deal with hotel reservations and availability.

Some people want to be able to wander at will and sleep wherever.

      Etc.
