Just changed the window regulator 20 mins ago on my 2019 toyota camry. Now it’s shocking me every single time I touch it while it’s on. I have no idea what went wrong. All I can thing of was that 2 rubber washers broke apart when I removed the trim. Saw them on the floor but don’t know what they went to. Any insight into fixing this would be appreciated.
Get replacement washers. Have a shop put them in.
If that doesn’t work, have the shop look at the other metal parts involved in the replacement. Some may be missing rubber seals.
