I just got off work and someone decided to stick a business card in my window instead of under my windshield wiper. I didn’t notice until I got to a drive through and saw it slip down into my door panel. How bad is this gonna be for my car? I can probably take the door panel off myself but if it’s not that big of a deal then I don’t want to mess with it
It shouldn’t affect anything. There’s not really as much as you think going on behind that door panel. It’s also won’t be too bad getting it out.
That’s what I thought, my main fear was it getting caught in the gears that lift the window but I’d assume it’d probably just sit at the bottom of the panel
It definitely will just sit there. I use to have one.

As others have said, you’re fine to leave it, but I’m curious how you didn’t notice the card right in front of your face until it was disappearing?
It was pretty small and in the back corner of the window so just barely out of my peripheral vision while driving, I also was looking at my phone when I got in the car so I didn’t notice it when I opened the door. Probably should pay more attention next time 😂

I would get it out, if it makes it way to the drain hole your door could fill up with water.
