Hi! I looking to purchase a 2020 mazda 6 touring but its a rental. I always here to have any used car purchased checked out by a mechanic. How am I supposed to do that? Choose a random mechanic from yelp and pay him to come down with my to the dealership? lol. Sorry if I sound like an idiot but I really don’t know what to do and i don’t know any mechanics personally. I believe the mazda was also a rental car in Hawaii, according to the carfax but everything else is clean. The car is going for 19500 but I’m hoping to get it brought down. Idk, purchasing a rental car seems a little scary.
Sounds like you may want someone who knows a little more about the car buying experience to be by your side and guide you. Never go in wet behind the ears with a decision that can easily ruin you financially
And never by a rental, unless it is just a cheap get around car for a bit or you are in a bind. For that price stick with dealer cars and have someone help you
