Hey guys, so I’ve had to jump my 2018 Jeep Compass three times in the past five days or so because I’ll get up in the morning and it won’t start. I’ve had three separate AutoZones or Advance AutoParts tell me that the battery, starter, and alternator are in good health and that I don’t need a new one, but then this keeps happening again. Is there anything else that it could be besides a battery problem? When I try to start it up the engine makes some sounds and tries to start up but doesn’t, and the inner console and ac all turn on fine.

The brake also gets locked up a bit, but I assume that’s just because the car can’t turn on, and even though it’s a bit locked up when I try to turn the car on it still tries to start up so I don’t think that’s a separate problem.

Any advice would be great thanks!!

Parasitic loads of even an alternator that’s going out can drain a battery intermittently.

That said, I’ve fought with the cat stores a couple of times now over batteries that were 'nearly 100%" that were doing this crap. Every time replacing the battery was the fix.
