I have a Volkswagen 2012 polo and I noticed my keys don’t freely turn we have to put force, when compared to other cars… I asked my service center to fix it and they said there’s no use lubricating it, I have to change the entire key cylinder mechanism which costs quite a lot… Is there any easy diy solution to this ?

Don’t keep a lot on your car keychain… any extra weight causes the key and the cylinder to wear out much faster… Especially when people have a bunch of keys and a lanyard or something hanging off of your car key while it’s in the cylinder
