Hey guys I’m out of my depth here and I need help.

We are expecting a second baby and we need a larger car that can comfortably fit 2 baby seats in the back (and a 3rd passenger to squeeze with them.

We narrowed down our search to 2 potential options, but I need your support in helping me choose which is the most economical, reliable, and comfortable.

Option 1:

  • 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLA (180 Urban Limited)
  • Mileage: 62000 km (38500 mi)

Option 2 (also used by the way):

  • 2023 Skoda Kamiq (1.0 TSI Ambition)
  • Mileage: 6000 km (3728 mi)

Thanks a ton!

There’s an entire laundry list of why these cars are firmly in the “avoid” category. In short, lots and lots of problems with the engine and electronics. Ever heard “there are few things more expensive than a cheap German car”? That definitely applies to the A’s.

Oh, ok! Thank you so much! What would be your pick then?

Insignia caravan Leon Cupra caravan Audi a4 Astra caravan Skoda octavia caravan Ford focus caravan

I like caravan cars (kombi) that look bossy and are fast, but don’t cost more than 30k. Like for example seat leon cupra. If I could Id buy a audi S6 but unfortunately I don’t have 80k to spare…

Out of that list, I’d go with the Insignia. Solid cars that are relatively cheap to maintain
