I went for a test drive today. I went in just wanting to test drive the cx-30. But ended up driving the cx 5 as well. I really liked the 5.

i only take my car to the train station and drive on weekends. The price difference between the 30 and 5 isn’t that large. I am concerned about the width difference. My current car is a 2006 corolla. The cx 30 is 4 inches wider. The 5 is 6 inches. Some of the parking spots are narrow. Am i over thinking this? I’m used to driving a sedan. So I don’t want to get something that will be too big for me.

Everyone should back in to park imo it’s not just easier to leave but a lot safer. It shouldn’t be a “law” but should be taught in drivers ed. Yes back up cameras and rear cross traffic alerts have come a long way, but if you’re pulling out you can see all the way down the parking lot, might have to lean forward but you are able to lean forward. And it’s a courtesy to others, it’s a pain to see around the butt end of a suv but you can, for the most part, see over the hood 🚙
