The issue is that that proposed solutions focus exclusively on offering more protection to women when very often the source of the problem is huge disparity in power in family courts. In a divorce case women will most likely get full custody, alimony and the house so men are left with diminished income and homeless which naturally leads to anger. Yet I never heard anyone talk about it. Of course it’s not an excuse and you still you have to be a monster to kill women and kids but changing family courts is part of the solution.
