So recently, my tire pressure light blinks and then stays solid.

I put some air into the tire and try to reset it on my own but it doesn’t go away.

I used my obd2 scanner and there were no codes to read, so that’s good.

I looked up, it could be a sensor problem? I’d rather get a second opinion from the Toyota community.

I’ve already made an appointment with the dealership for next Monday. Is my car safe to drive?

Edit: 2015 Toyota Corolla.

Blinks then solid battery is out/lost connection

solid tire pressure is below threshold.

the sensor is 30 to 40 bucks. I replaced one myself using the oem tpms sensor and reprogram it to my car using an tpms tool ts 508. I would go to a good shop and have them test the sensor like others have said. One guy was honest and said you can replace all or just replace 1. The next one died 4 years later and that is the one I replaced myself.

Ask them to see the tool they use to see the status of the sensor. The tpms tool will only show if the battery is good or low and doesn’t show the voltage of the sensor.
