Buy the first year model. Nothing ever goes wrong with the early models. ‘Everything is built so much better now’.
I’d never touch a boring car like a civic until year 2 of production. Something new and exotic like a EV from a novice maker? Year 3 is where I consider a vehicle.
-ex mechanic.
21-24 model years. So even model year 4. Joop quality.
I bought a Rivian out of the gate
and then a software update almost bricked your car
Almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades
Let us know how that suspension holds up. I quote like Rivian, they are ‘the correct size’. But no manufacturer in history has made hydraulic suspension that wasn’t a maintenance nightmare in half a decade.
I’m hopeful that I can repair it my self.
I am curious if the suspension is rebuildable, or if it’s a crimped shut time bomb.
You’d think they would’ve learned from all the Chrysler Pacifica PHEV fire recalls.
Same with the Rav4 Prime.
Do they have components in common that contribute to this recall?
Unintended fires are a matter for the courts, Canyoneroooo
Its better than 1.8 million Toyota Rav 4 recall for fire risk
Wow. All the Jeep haters here because of a recall. Name one major manufacturer that doesn’t have recalls.
r/heep
you’ve completely misunderstood what that sub is about
Fuck Tesla and body gaps!
/S if needed
Stellantis makes jeeps? Didnt know
Jeep Wrangler 4xe has a battery only range of 21 miles? What’s even the point?
$7500 in taxpayer funds, mostly.
That’s probably 50-60% of total miles covered by electricity for many people.
