The tesla semi can do 40k lbs, who’s laughing now?

Oh it’s a completely different vehicle? Yeah, so is an ICE truck vs fully electric. If someone wants an electric truck, they aren’t buying an ICE

It’s literally plug in hybrid, it has a damn 3.6 litre V6 engine that they call ”generator”. It has like 100 kwh battery and that only does 145 miles or so range lol. Itms the worst thing ever.

It’s got a bigger battery than almost every other EV, almost as big as the Lightning’s base pack. It has the same range as a base model Nissan Leaf.
Downvote all you want, but the Ramcharger is definitely an EV. Packaging in the Pentastar V6 as a generator is an interesting idea, and might well bring in a bunch of new owners that wouldn’t be interested in the limited range of other full size electric pickups.

It’s a hybrid. It has an ICE. Someone wanting an electric truck isn’t going to buy it. Someone who wants a hybrid will.

Cross shoppers exist. Some may consider an ICE, BEV, or Hybrid powertrain depending on their needs, specs, price.

40k lbs? Where did you see that? I’d hope that isn’t correct as Ford SuperDutys and Silverado HDs can tow near that weight.

None of these vehicles will be towing anywhere near their “tow rating.” I get that this sub is mostly not car peole, so I understand the confusion.

You nearly always run out of payload and axle capacity way before you run out of pulling capacity. The “tow rating” is just for magazing racing.
