Ok so i just drove 300 miles in a rental Tesla averaging 75-85 mph and it just ripped the battery open. I had to stop and charge twice. Is there an electric vehicle that’s actually OK - or at least better - at this please? Happy thanksgiving!

You’d probably need something with a large battery in the 90+ kWh range if you like to cruise at high speeds and still have decent range.

The Mercedes EQS comes to mind.

What size is the battery in the rental car? Probably not terribly big.

A 100 kWh battery will go 400 miles under favorable conditions so your 400 mile blast would have needed one charging session for long enough to get maybe another 40-50kW on board, or 15 minutes on a high speed charger.
