Front driveshaft issue?

2013 jeep wrangler JKU Sport. Had a problem with a lot of vibration on acceleration that was worse at highway speed. Took to a trusted mechanic. He said it was the front driveshaft leaking fluid? and recommended replacing it. Replaced it and it started happening again, albeit less severely.

I was thinking though, would a front driveshaft cause problems on accelerations in 2wd? Advice needed,
