How often do I really need an alignment?

Assuming normal driving conditions in a New England suburban community for a 6 year old Honda that’s in good shape, under 50k miles.

A lot of websites recommend an alignment every year or two. Instead, I do it with each new set of tires

Body Work. Questions related to dings, dents, accidents, paint and so forth DO NOT belong here. Take the car to an auto body repair shop who can give you a qualified estimate.
