This is in a 2020 stock Camry and it seems to be a button. I didn’t want to press it. I’ve never driven Toyota but I have driven Lexus. It appears to be broken.

Seems like a missing knob? Might be mirror adjustment

I believe that is where the knob that controls the power side mirrors would go if it weren’t missing.
Surprised if the color of thermoplastic. Should have a black circular knob on it.

The mirror adjustment knob is missing. I didn’t think the rental company would let this go without just fixing it…

Mirror adjustment, but someone pulled or broke off the knob. Make sure you dont get charged for it.
