Any tricks for messed up bolt hole threads?

Trying to install a new intake camshaft sensor but everytime I go to bolt it in the bolt keeps turning crooked. It’s driving me crazy.

try using a thread repair kit, it can help fix the messed up threads and get the bolt to sit properly without turning crooked. good luck!
