    Besides what everyone else said, they are charging for a brake fluid exchange on top of replacing calipers? Usually your putting fresh fluid and bleeding anyway when replacing them. Run fast from this place.

    The dealer should remove any digit from the 4 figure quote and maybe it’s worth getting it done for the 3 figure quote. Run away from the dealer, it’s hard to imagine a 2016 needing a new brake caliper that soon.

    The rest is okish, but that caliper price, JFC. A front caliper on my BMW would be cheaper than that, and it’s a 4-piston monobloc. The part is like $500, and replacing it is less than 2hrs for me, and I’m just a shade tree mechanic. I’d bet a BMW dealer would come in under $1.5k for that job.
