My automatic 2003 Honda Element occasionally chokes/sputters when accelerating. It only happens when my foot is pressing the pedal, and it happens noticeably when I am going up a steep hill or something. Is it the fuel system that’s a bit gunked up? Could fuel cleaner that I pour into the gas tank help? What are the likely issues? Appreciate any help.
