I’ve seen people in this sub post pics of them wearing the alpine loop in different ways.

Some folks have the ribbed loops on the bottom of their watch (like my image). Some folks have it on the top of their watch.

What’s the general consensus on the right way to wear it?

Also, since I know people are going to say I’m wearing an iPad on my wrist….

…Yeah….I’ve got small wrists, but I’ve BIG WRIST ENERGY!!!

Like your pic OP. I have a black one from a knock off set from Aliexpress. My OG white got too dirty too quickly.

I wear a large on the next to last hole, on purpose so the buckle won’t hit the laptop, desk, keyboard, etc. the buckle faces me so it’s easier to take off and put on.

I wear it where the hook is facing me. It’s easier for me to pull the hook towards me when I put on the watch.

As a ladies man, I put the ribs on top, which is outside and is more attractive for any lucky woman who may be checking out my watch. In other words…

    It’s ribbed for her pleasure.

If your other wrist is free of tattoos, the heart rate sensor will work better on your other wrist. Optical HR sensors can struggle or stop working through tattoos.

Bottom. I tried on top and it was pert near impossible to remove the band when I needed it off. On top is leagues faster and easier.

I basically follow two “rules” when I use my bands which are based on how I saw the original bands in Apple’s product photos used them early on.

For bands like the regular sport bands and similar with one short and one long piece, the short piece always goes on top.

For bands that folds around the connector like the Alpine Loop does, I have the fold at the bottom. I remember initially wearing the folds in the top, but changed it after seeing the Milanese loop images. Now I think this feels and looks beter with most bands.

This is how I prefer it anyways, but it’s really just a matter of preference honestly. I just like to have a set way of wearing all my bands consistently haha.
