Hello, Mazda enthusiasts and car experts,
As I delve deeper into the world of Mazda, I find myself leaning towards their models, especially the CX-5. I’m currently in the process of determining which trim level offers the best value, as I want to avoid unnecessary features.
My current vehicle is a 2016 Honda Accord Sport, which has roughly 107,000 miles. Based on my research, it seems to be valued between $10,000 to $12,000. I am flexible with my down payment and can adjust it if beneficial for this deal.
Do the incentives make the latest model a more attractive option financially? (2.9%(60 M) or 3.9%(72 M) APR for a turbo model) (5.49% non-turbo)
Trim Level Insights: Which trim level of the CX-5 do you think offers the best balance of features and value? Are there specific features in higher trim levels that are particularly worth the investment?
Trade-In Considerations: Given the details of my current car, do you think it’s a wise decision to trade it in for a CX-5? Any tips on maximizing the trade-in value?
Model Year vs. Incentives: I’m also contemplating whether to opt for an older model or take advantage of the incentives on the 2024 models this December. What are your thoughts on this? Do the incentives make the latest model a more attractive option financially?
Your insights and experiences would be incredibly valuable in helping me make an informed decision. Looking forward to your responses and joining the Mazda family soon!
I went with the S Select, one level above base model. I did not want a sunroof, this is the highest model not to offer one. It had my main wants, dual climate control, blind spot monitor with cross traffic alert (really helps pulling out of parking spaces), and heated front seats. The non turbo has been fine as a daily commuter. I also wanted the 17 inch wheels which comes on this and not the 19 inch.
I might be the minority and agree with you. I’m a big fan of the CX5 but also wanted the 17" wheels for the combination of comfort and performance. I think the vehicle looked great as is and rather have the 17"'s.
