I recently come back from a 3 hour trip. I had no problems with the truck during that time and stopped for gas and food twice. Once I got home, I turned the truck off but then decided I needed to move the truck a little further into my driveway. I went to turn the truck on, but did not start. I got the jump box, turned the key and heard a single “click” and everything turned off. Does anyone know if it’s just a battery problem? The truck did not cut off or turned off the entire road trip only until I got home is when it didn’t want to start back on. I’ll appreciate some advice!

Looks like battery, doubt is alternator problem. Alternator will throw a warning light. Instead of removing battery and send it to get tested rather buy a voltmeter and test battery and alternator yourself, its easy to: How to test battery and alternator.

If battery is dead, charging wont help it.

The battery can be charged once it dies. It needs current first, then you can charge it up to correct voltage.
