I purchased the suv a few weeks ago and having trouble with self parking.

The bmw sales guy during the test drive was able to have it self park quite easily but I haven’t been able to replicate as efficiently.

I’m wondering if I can increase the sensitivity to detect parking spots?

    I’ve had it for 6 years across 2 cars and I used it once at the start, gimmick imho.

    Same with auto reverse although that was actually useful (drove into an incredibly tight spot and couldn’t turn around).

        How does it handle the transition from the driveway to the street? Our driveway rather steep and I’m concerned it’ll reverse too fast and bottom out on the front.

          I also have a steep driveway so I take control of the car as it nears the end of the driveway and ease it out. It’s a Z4 so it’s quite low to the ground. Needs the manual attention at the end of the driveway.
