Hey guys! I’ve always loved BMW’s, and due to a recent car accident, and going through a financial institution rather than a dealership, I’ve come into driving a 2020 BMW X2 28iXDrive with the premium package (has about 66,000KM on it). I’d be absolutely lying if I said I didn’t freaking love this car. Now, I understand it’s a very “entry level” BMW, so it only has a little 2.0t i4 making about 240hp and 260lbft while sitting at 3600lbs. I. Want. More. Power. I know many of you are probably thinking “Well why didn’t you get a different BMW then?”, well I was in a tight situation and my options were limited due to my previous lein. I still love it none the less though. What are some things that people would recommend doing that are feasible to install/replace on my own? And what are brands I should look for? My current things I would like to do are: cold air intake (or resonator delete pipe if a C.A.I is unnecessary), cat back exhaust, tune (definitely need a profesional), lowering springs ,new wheels (it has the 20" wheels but I want them to be black), EVENTUALLY want to get a suspension kit and put a very light RESPECTABLE amount of camber on. Any and every thought and genuine opinion is truly appreciated even if it’s just to stick to the absolute basics and wait till I can get something with an i6 or even a V8 if I can get there.

I’m not overly knowledgeable on the X2 but I’m assuming it’s the B48 engine? If so a downpipe, intake and a tune like a bootmod or jb4 should get you pretty close to 300hp. The main issue is that it’s already pretty heavily tuned from the factory since there isn’t really any major changes from a 20i to a 28i, if you want anything more you’d need to get an X2 M35i or probably just get something with the B58.

Awesome! 300 is right around where I wanted to be so that’s GREAT advice. Next car will MUCH more likely than not be a Sedan or Coupe if I don’t pull the trigger on a pickup, so won’t be looking at the X body vehicles. I like them, I just PREFER something that’s RWD for obvious hooligan reasons
