So my buddy and I tried swapping out the screen for another with no luck… the new screens system kept freezing so I put the original back and drove back home. No issues. An hour later, I was gonna drive out and the car wouldn’t turn on. When I turn the key to accessory it won’t power the screen as it did before and it makes absolutely no sound or crank when I turn it. I was able to remote start the car from the fob and then stuck the key in and turned it and it just turned off. It’s as if it doesn’t register the fob being in it. Battery’s functional and I checked any related fuses with a voltmeter and also good. Someone mentioned it may be the ignition switch or some anti theft system that was triggered upon installation of the new screen… but then why was it able to drive back to my place afterwards? Any help will be appreciated!

By screen, I assume you mean radio? What parts did you use to install it? If you had to run power, where did you run it to? This is likely a blown ignition fuse.

Yea referring to the radio. Oddly enough it turned out to be a faulty key fob, but thank you anyway!
