Not sure if this is the right subreddit but, I just wanted a new laptop with the same price range ($1200) as the MacBook I have now. I want it to play games like Forza, CSGO, Fortnite, Minecraft, etc. with good fps and resolution. Any ideas?

Edit: I want a new laptop because Macbooks have no freedom.

    Disregarding laptop branding your target should be AMD Ryzen 7840HS or 7940HS which can easily game on 1080p with FPS higher than 60fps on the games you mentioned on their own integrated GPU.

    This video from ETA Prime shows the 7940HS gaming performance.

    Those AMD variants are 4nm lithography so they will have significantly better battery life than their Intel same generation counterparts.
