Trying to troubleshoot a p2096 with p2196 and i was wondering what the normal readings should be on a wideband o2 for these cars? It is a 2012 kia optima…I am reading .9v and I am in negative polarity for the mA reading so definitley running rich but I don’t know what the normal reading should be…

I am used to the old school narrowband o2 sensors

Wide band will usually label 02 voltage as LAMBDA and are not used as downstream sensors. They work opposite of narrow. High voltage means lean low means rich. 1v would be ideal A/F ratios and anything above or below would be as I described. Pull a vacuum line while watching voltage to see if the 02 reacts or not. Down stream 02 should be a steady 750-800mv.
