So I bought a 2020 Jeep Wrangler sport from a Chevrolet dealership about a month ago and now the lights in the dash/radio are flickering. From all of my Google-fu it’s either an alternator, ground wire, or auxiliary battery issue.

Chevrolet dealership won’t look at it because it’s a Jeep so they say I have to go to the nearest Jeep dealership, but I bought the “platinum package” at the Chevy dealership that’s suppose to cover an array of issues. So will Chevy cover it even though I’m having to go through the Jeep dealership? And if not why did I even buy the extra coverage?

This is the first car I’ve ever bought and I’m trying to not get screwed. Any advise would be appreciated

Call the Jeep dealer and see what they say. But I’d bet my left nut that they’ll tell you it’s up to the Chevy dealer.
